CNN —At Princeton High School, students are trying to combat the rapid decline of indigenous languages with some unlikely help: a furry, wide-eyed stuffed animal named Che’w. He’s a wildly intelligent generative AI robot that speaks Mam, a Mayan language spoken in the western highlands of Guatemala and Mexico and by a small population of the school’s students. The company said it managed to restore the implant's ability to monitor its patient's brain signals by making changes that included modifying its algorithm to be more sensitive. But in the weeks following the procedure, a number of threads retracted from Arbaugh's brain, Neuralink said in a blog post Wednesday. Arbaugh said the Link is like a "luxury overload," and it has helped him to "reconnect with the world," according to the blog post. Twelve-year old Spire Global is in the radio frequency sensing business, operating a satellite constellation that collects space-based radio frequency data that can be analyzed and sold as a service. Nonetheless, "at this point in time there is no immediate economic flow from Nvidia to Spire or vice versa," he noted. Spire Global, a small capitalization stock that went public through a SPAC merger in 2021, shot up roughly 40% in response. Spire Global forecasts achieving positive free cash flow this summer, or by the third quarter of 2024.
